Legal Interim Manager

As a Legal Interim Manager, you will be called upon to deal with temporary or critical situations where immediate legal expertise is required. Depending on the assignment, this may involve, amongst other things:

• ensuring continuity within a legal department (e.g. in the event of long-term absence, peak workloads or transition);
• taking on a (senior) generalist or specialist role within one or more areas of law;
• advising management and business stakeholders on complex legal issues;
• creating, structuring, optimising or temporarily managing legal processes;
• acting as a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders.

You will be given a clear remit and will work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

• You are an experienced freelance legal professional or solicitor with a high level of professional maturity.
• You have a proven track record as a generalist and/or specialist.
• You feel at ease in interim and transitional contexts.
• You communicate clearly and persuasively with management and business stakeholders
• You adapt easily to different corporate cultures and organisations.
• You work on a freelance basis.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and, ideally, also have a good knowledge of English.
