As an Interim GL Accountant, you will temporarily strengthen a client’s internal finance team. You will be joining a team that requires continuity, expertise or extra capacity, for example during peak periods, as a replacement, or in times of growth or change.

What you’ll be doing (depending on the assignment):

• You’ll play an active role in the monthly and annual closing processes and monitor timing and quality
• You’ll take ownership of the balance sheet, reconciliations and provisions, and ensure reliable figures
• You will support internal stakeholders (controlling, finance management) by providing the necessary input for reporting
• You will act as the point of contact for the audit team and ensure smooth preparation and follow-up
• Where necessary, you will bring structure to the process and ensure a clear handover to the team
• In some assignments, you will temporarily take on a coaching or leadership role within the accounting team

• You work as an independent finance professional
• You have a strong background in accounting
• You are quick to get up to speed and adapt easily to new environments
• You have a very good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• You are fluent in Dutch
