Commercial Controller

A well-established, international organization is looking for a Commercial Controller. In this role, you are responsible for managing pricing within commercial promotions and you provide day-to-day guidance to a small team of experts. You combine a strong affinity for figures with the people skills needed to support the team in an environment with strict weekly deadlines.

Your responsibilities:

• You ensure that prices and promotions are set correctly and on time, within strict weekly deadlines;
• You perform checks and sanity checks in Power BI to guarantee the accuracy of pricing;
• You provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to a small team of pricing specialists and help them resolve complex issues;
• You improve the transparency of promotional margin and develop attractive promotional deals;
• You further develop existing tools and systems for promotional management and propose improvements;
• You report on promo performance to support the decision-making process.

Your profile:

• You hold a master's degree in an economic, financial or business-related field;
• You have at least 5 years of experience, preferably with an affinity for pricing, figures or commercial analysis;
• You are proficient in Excel; good knowledge of Power BI is a must;
• You have strong people management skills and know how to coach experienced profiles and give constructive feedback;
• You are analytical and critical, structured, organized and able to work independently, even under time pressure;
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of the other national language and English.
